So It has been kinda crazy at our house the last couple weeks!!
Coach was laid off from his job about a month ago and all the applications being sent out weren't getting the desired results. It is super tough to find a part time job that can work around a crazy school schedule and a National Guard schedule.
Coach lays laminate wood flooring and tried to get some business from that, but most of the builders had their own guys they use. They still took down our contact info if something came up which was nice, but we need a job that produces an income to support our family sooner than later.
A good friend of our suggested we start our own window washing business. Which was something we once talked about, but at the time we had a job, so it wasn't taken any further.
Our good friend was an answer to our prayers and gave us the push that we needed!!
So we have officially started our own business all licensed and insured!!

We already have a couple of clients and a business!! And then today was Coach's first official going out and trying to drum up some work. We may have got some clients from that, too!!
I personally think it is super scary to go door to door, and even Coach admitted to being nervous when he was doing it, but we have to try! I'm personally scared about starting and doing a business all together, but again we are sort-of out of options and we need to be able to house and feed our growing family while Coach finishes up his college.
I did get my design juices flowing and created his business cards and magnets. I made fliers and even made some t-shirts!! It a simple design but exactly what Coach had envisioned and what i think looked best! :-)
