What we've been up too

Coach and I have been busy, well coaching.  We had a blast this season coaching the girls together.
They were fun and though we didn't make it to the championship, We really had a great team.  My 7th grade team never got beat by more than 6 points!!
Coach still has one last game on Friday
This is My Team!!! They were great fun! (Don't Have a pic yet of Coach's Team)

After Thanksgiving we went and got our tree.  We probably should have waited cuz there wasn't much snow and it is tradition to go sledding when getting our tree. But we made do.

Then the a couple days later we decorated the tree...and got out the Train!!

Every day we have Tristan pull out of a jar a Christmas activity. We haven't done a lot because of basketball.  We have gone to the library and watched Christmas movies and feed the ducks.  Tristan even made this cute Christmas tree craft!

Tonite we made and decorated a Gingerbread House!! This is the first time I have ever made one, Coach asked me why we didn't do one earlier in our marriage..no idea, it was so much fun!! Even though it does look like Tristan did it by himself.

Coach added a back patio with tiki torches!!

We even played Jenga ( the flash was off)  Oh and I won!!!

A new amazing development has occurred....Tristan lays Eggs!!!

My son has been a bundle of frustration, energy and joy.  I can't believe he is 3..
It's a little late but here is some of his birthday photos.

IT's a COW (at least Big T knew what it was)

Using his new Spy Glass
Looks Like Dad is Helping him out...HEHE

He is practicing for the summer with his Dad...

He likes things his way and it's hard to persuade him otherwise.  For instance..We can not leave the house without his cowboy hat or cowboy boots EVER!!
He really is my little cowboy...

Showing off his new spurs he got for his birthday....

Big T loves to helps us cook and bake..okay, okay he mostly helps Coach cook and bake.
Big T's first time making cookies....

another time Coach had to wear his hat with Big T so they could be Cowboy Cooks!!
My Good lookin' Cowboys!!!  What more could a girl want?

Apparently Big T is now old enough to shave...he's getting sooo big :-)

But Nobody is ever to old to take Naps though!!

The Fun Side

So Coach has finally talked me into coming to the "Fun Side" instead of the "Dark Side".
So I am now coaching basketball instead of officiating it this year.

I've only been to a couple of practices because i was out of town or had made previous commitments, and tomorrow is our first game!!

I'm really not sure how well I'm doing.  I know the game and the rules, but coaching it isn't something I've ever done.  It definitely is different.  Coach thinks I'm doing well, but he has been wanting me to coach for a long time now.

We are coaching together, an 8th and 7th grade team.  It is actually fun, but this is his first year coaching girls, which I've noticed he is a little softer of a coach with them than he is with the boys.  I think he doesn't want to make any girls cry. We are at the opposite school that Coach normally coaches at, but the girls are still pretty great.  We have a 6'3 girl on our 8th grade team that is a huge bonus!!!

Our poor boy is just being conditioned to be a ball player. If I can coach with Coach at CJ for the boys, then I am there, so there is no getting around not knowing the sport.  He is a really good sport about having to hang out for 2 hours and being ignored though!!

So for the next couple of months I'm trying to come up with crock-pot dinners and anything else that is fast and as healthy as I can make it. With Coach still in school and night classes and coaching and Church callings and work, plus my work, the only time I get to see him his at practice, so it has been sort of nice.

Labor Day

I am so behind..I wanted to post this much sooner, after Labor Day, but I got distracted and didn't.

For Labor Day Coach and I took Big T to Yellowstone.  He loved the Buffaloes!!  We did the big loop in one day, I think when we do it again we are going to do it in a couple of days. It was a long Day!
The best part is Big T didn't have an accident the whole time, which is huge!! (a couple of funny stories later to come about that :-) )

Mammoth:

The First Buffalo we saw... at the outhouse.  In fact when Tristan was in the outhouse and he tooted he said " I just scared the buffalo!"

the stop at Tower Falls...
No idea what Coach is looking at??

Lunch Stop!

Big T wanted daddy's knife....
so he could use it as a telescope....
to look at the birds...
Our Family!!

The Top of the Canyon Falls....

the funny  (and embarrassing) story I promised... Here at this overlook, Coach and I were looking and taking pictures when I asked him where Big T,cuz he wasn't next to us, we turned and saw people moving out of the way and there in the center was my kiddo peeing in the middle of the crowd!!!

 Old Faithful
Why sit by Dad.....

When you can sit by a pretty girl!!!

We even got to witness another geyser that I have never seen go off!

Some more Geyser pools at Sunset:

Look at the boy so proud of the K-bar he is carrying around...
