Two!?!!?!

I cried in Coache's arms last night, pretty much the whole night.  My son; my adorable, defiant, loving, stubborn, and hilarious son is 2 today.
Where did the time go??  I feel like that I missed the baby stage, that I didn't fully appreciate it like I should have and that I didn't enjoy every moment like I wanted to.  Those first years are a blink's moment in time.
He went from this....
To this......
What an incredible little boy!!
I do feel guilty bawling and telling Coach how much I feel like I've missed and how worried I was for not spending more time with him and not basking in the moments of his babyhood...
Coach just held me and told me that I was overreacting and really just comforted me, not at all mentioning that for a YEAR he only experienced Big T through photos that I sent him!!

I may never get to experience a baby again, and I realize that I am very lucky to have even gotten to experience it once, but it still brings sadness with the thought that he is no baby, it is over.

On a better note....
(This is our first hike to the "M", where Big T would tell Coach "Daddy Keep Walking", anytime he stopped for a breather!!)

Saturday we threw him a birthday party!!  and I made him a cake....ALL BY MYSELF (with Coach's help :-) ).

It really doesn't look like much here:

Daddy's Home!!

So Coach came home on September 11th!!!  It is so great to have him home.  I think that Big T is actually enjoying him being home more than I am.  He loves having a Daddy!!!!!!
I do love having a convenient and cheap babysitter while I am refereeing volleyball and out riding horses.
I didn't just put him to work though, we have been enjoying the outdoors, especially since the weather is still so nice. :-)
So I'm just going to post a ton of photos, they speak better than I can.
( I really should do collages, but I haven't made templates and this is easier and quicker for me right now...so you'll have to suffer through scrolling down :-) ....sorry )

Palisade Falls:

Campfire: S'mores (& burning paper you would normally shred if you had a paper shredder)
Skipped the roasting mallow part and just hung out with all the supplies

Rat Lake:

Uhh...we're Montanans why wouldn't we shoot a pistol into the lake??

My wimpy kid who fell off his log into the mud, and hit his face, but all he wanted was the mud off his hands!!
