Monday night, I started to feel kind-of "icky", my stomach started to hurt. Oh ya!! last time I felt this way it lasted for almost 2 weeks. Did I also mention that the day I felt that way I was headed to my parents house. I drove there throwing up and stopping on the side of the road to do the bathroom duties..in the middle of nowhere!!! Just cuz I know you all wanted to know that :-)
Anywho...
I planned on leaving for my parents on Tuesday ( weird huh..must be a sign) but that Monday night/ Tuesday morning I was up the whole time puking my guts out, and the other way. Want a great ab workout...throw up or dry heave!! When Big T woke up, he had also been throwing up at nights a couple of days ago, now he has horrible diarrhea and was covered, but I barely got him out of his crib until I had to run to the bathroom. After that I was so dizzy and hurting I couldn't even move. There was my son screaming because he was covered in stink and I had to just lay there and listen to him...I honestly felt like death was at the door!! I eventually got the diaper changed and him cleaned up, pretty much with us both laying on the floor. What I would have killed for to have Coach home at that moment, only God knows.
I did the unthinkable (in my book) and called a friend to see if my Sick Kid could go hang with her kids for awhile, which turned out to be the day. Thank goodness she is awesome!! Her husband came picked up Big T and dropped off some Bananas, 7-up, and Pepto-Bismo ( he is awesome too) !! I was able to sleep, continue my bathroom runs without a head poking in between my arm and the toilet, and Big T was able to get his diapers changed and fed properly.
I can not afford to be this sick, in fact I needed it to be gone um..yesterday, so that night, I finally decided I needed some Higher Power. Yeah for extremely close neighbors that have the Priesthood.
This morning I woke up and had energy, well more than absolutely none. My stomach wasn't queasy and everything seemed to be in check. I packed up the vehicle and made it safely
(even with no brakes :-) ) to Idaho.
I'm so grateful that my Heavenly Father was mindful of me last night, and for today's travel!
